To begin, click on your theme, then click on the discussion tab. Finally, click on the "New Post" button. The title of your post should be the PAGE NUMBER OF THE PAGE YOU ARE REFERENCING! You may then comment, elaborate, question, or connect to the novel. It is appropriate to use direct quotations from the text so that everyone knows exactly what passage you are referencing. I encourage you to respond to other people’s comments, but do not start a new discussion thread for the same page number. See the sample discussion I have posted here. I have used the theme of the two pearls as my sample topic.
